At FlexiEats (a platform owned and operated by Quantivant LLC), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our customers, restaurants, private chefs, and private cooks. This Privacy Policy outlines how Quantivant LLC collects, uses, and safeguards your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Account Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
- Transaction Data: We track order histories, menu selections, and communication logs between buyers and sellers on the platform.
- Seller Compliance Data: For Private Chefs and Cooks, we collect ServSafe certifications and signed compliance affirmations.
2. Payment Processing & Digital Wallet Security
FlexiEats is engineered as a secure, Digital-Wallet-Only platform. We strictly only accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
- Zero Raw Data: Because we solely use tokenized digital wallets, FlexiEats never touches, sees, or stores your raw credit card or debit card numbers on our servers.
- All tokenized payments are routed directly through Stripe, our secure third-party payment processor.
- You are subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy and Security Terms when onboarding as a Seller or checking out as a Buyer via Apple Pay or Google Pay.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To facilitate the connection between hungry customers and culinary creators.
- To provide customer support, dispute resolution, and platform moderation.
- To verify seller credentials (e.g., ServSafe certificates) to maintain marketplace integrity.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We only share necessary order fulfillment information (such as your name, delivery address, and phone number) with the specific Seller you placed an order with.
5. Security & Data Retention
Your data is securely stored using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud/Firebase). We retain your data only as long as your account is active or as legally required. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support.
Your privacy matters to us. We are committed to protecting your personal information and being transparent about how we use it. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
