Activity analytics and your choice

We measure visits, food searches, feature use, signup and onboarding progress, and purchase outcomes to improve FlexiEats. These events can include your account identifier, an app session identifier, platform and app version. Food search terms are normalized and filtered to exclude contact details. We do not include private message content, passwords, or payment-card numbers in these analytics.

Detailed member-linked analytics are retained for up to 90 days. Minimal delivery receipts used to prevent duplicate counting are retained for up to 13 months and are removed on account deletion. Non-identifying aggregate trends are retained for up to 13 months. Account deletion removes linked analytics and pending events. You can turn off optional product analytics below; transaction and security records remain governed by their existing retention requirements.

1. Information We Collect

• Account Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and physical address.
• Transaction Data: We process order histories, menu selections, payment and fulfillment status, reviews, and communications needed for orders and support. Repost-related records may link a qualifying purchase and review to a repost, its source seller, markup, and reward.
• Seller Compliance Data: We collect submitted licenses, food-safety certifications, insurance information, and compliance affirmations. Where recorded, acknowledgments include the account, document version, timestamp, and relevant posting or verification context.
• Public Content: We process the posts, reviews, profile details, collection information, and media you choose to publish. Public listings identify the source restaurant or seller; sharing or reposting can make that content visible beyond your own profile.

2. Payment Processing & Digital Wallet Security

Digital checkout supports Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. Cash may also be available for eligible orders and is recorded separately from processor payments.

• Wallet credentials are handled through the wallet provider and Stripe; FlexiEats does not store raw card numbers for these wallet payments. We receive transaction identifiers and status information needed to operate checkout, refunds, and payouts.
• Stripe processes payment and seller onboarding information under its Privacy Policy. Wallet providers also apply their own privacy terms.
• Authentication and tokenization reduce some risks but do not guarantee that fraud or unauthorized transactions cannot occur.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To facilitate the connection between hungry customers and culinary creators.
• To provide customer support, dispute resolution, and platform moderation.
• To verify seller credentials (e.g., ServSafe certificates) to maintain marketplace integrity.
• To assess qualifying purchases and reviews for repost eligibility, connect reposts to original sellers, attribute orders and creator rewards, administer promotions where available, and investigate fraud or rights complaints.
• To administer acknowledgments, comply with legal obligations, and retain evidence needed for transaction or compliance disputes.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to data brokers. We share necessary fulfillment information, such as your name, delivery address, and phone number, with the seller fulfilling your order. Public seller names, published listings, and reviews remain visible in the relevant public features, including reposts and collections.

Payment processors, hosting providers, and other service providers process information necessary to operate the platform. Resellers may receive information about attributed purchases and earnings needed to administer their rewards; reposting does not grant them general access to customers’ private order histories or payment credentials. We may also disclose information as required by law or reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, resolve disputes, or protect rights and safety.

5. Security & Data Retention

We use cloud infrastructure including Google Cloud/Firebase and safeguards intended to protect your information; no system can guarantee absolute security. Retention depends on the purpose, including account operation, transaction and reward accounting, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute records. The specific analytics periods above continue to apply. You can request account and data deletion, or remove saved posts and likes without closing your account, on our account and data deletion page. Deletion may not remove required transaction records, lawful prior uses, or copies independently shared outside the platform. Public content licensing and removal are addressed in the Terms of Use.
